Dear Montebello Intermediate School Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! It is an honor to serve as the Principal of Montebello Intermediate School. I look forward to partnering with our dedicated staff, MOI families, and the entire school community as we continue to provide our MOI Eagles with an outstanding educational experience.

At MOI, our mission is to empower every student to achieve academic excellence while developing the skills needed to become effective communicators, collaborators, creators, critical thinkers, and responsible citizens. The safety, social-emotional well-being, and academic success of every student will always remain our highest priorities.

I am excited to share that we will continue expanding opportunities for our students through our Community Schools Initiative, strengthening partnerships that provide valuable academic, wellness, enrichment, and family engagement resources. In addition, I am proud to announce that Montebello Intermediate School has been selected as a GEAR UP school through a partnership with UCLA. This exciting opportunity will provide our students and families with college awareness activities, academic support, career exploration, leadership development, and resources that will help prepare every student for success in high school, college, and beyond.

Your partnership plays a vital role in your child's education. Together, we can ensure that every MOI Eagle reaches their full potential and is prepared for college, career, and life.
